Jesse Tippett, M.D

Juliay Tippett L.C.S.W. seeks to offer a safe and supportive environment that will extend acceptance, trust, and understanding to those who are hurting. Juliay's work experience includes intensive in-home therapy and residential treatment for emotionally disturbed youth, sexual assault therapy for sexually abused children, Christian counseling for couples, individuals, and families and supportive therapy to the elderly in Assisted Living and Independent Living facilities. Juliay has also directed community programs that provided assessments and recommendations for at-risk children and families.
Originally from the Washington D.C area, Dr. Tippett attended George Mason University for his undergraduate education. He began his medical training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and after earning his M.D. moved to St. Petersburg where he completed Bayfront's Family Medicine residency and was elected to serve as Chief Resident his senior year. Following residency Dr. Tippett opted to remain at Bayfront for additional training and was accepted into the Bayfront Sports Medicine Fellowship. In the past, Dr. Tippett has had the opportunity to serve as team physician at USF, Eckerd College, and St Petersburg College, as well as several high schools. He is currently board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.
